May 2009: Brahms Concert featuring the majestic and moving Brahms Requiem, Brahms Requiem (also called Ein deutsches Requiem) is a complex and beautiful piece of music. See the Wikipedia website for more information and playable excerpts from the Requiem. This inspiring Requiem, which will be sung in an English translation, was dedicated to the memory of the Chorale's former president, Brian Clarke, who died in 2008, and proceeds were donated the Gippsland Bushfire Relief Fund.
